.....we'd like to invite you to stay a while and have a look around.
The Poor Bloody Infantry houses a directory of mini-reports on organisations that contribute to the general good. Check the menu on the left to see what's already available.

Members receive a round-up of the five mini-reports once a week and of course have access to all the reports currently on the site. New mini-reports are written on a regular basis.
The Poor Bloody Infantry started out as a 'gripe site' protesting against politicians on the make and bankers on the take. The original PBI were led by donkeys. The modern PBI are led by crooks.
But as we picked our way through the wreckage left by the 'casino banks', we discovered some gems: brilliant ideas which we want to share as widely as possible. The mini-reports are the result.
You can use the the Poor Bloody Infantry in several ways. For a start and importantly, you can use it to save yourself money.
Do you live in a major city? If yes, you can eliminate all car purchase costs, car insurance premiums, road tax payments, CPZ charges, MOT and repair expenses and depreciation and still drive a nearly-new, low-mileage, low-emission vehicle. There are mini-reports on City Car Club, Street Car and Zip Cars in the Transport section. Work out for yourself how much you could save. Other mini-reports will help you identify the cheapest petrol pump prices in your area, how to lift share or find a bike buddy and abandon the car altogether.
Budget airlines have dramatically reduced the cost of flying. However you can go one better and eliminate accommodation costs completely. Check out the Holidays section.
Are you being charged exorbitant rates of interest on your credit cards, store cards and loans and want to reduce them? Or do you have some spare cash you'd like to get a decent return on? Of course you would. Visit the Social Banking section and find out how you can borrow and lend without going near the big banks.
What skills can you offer? If you're prepared to exchange them you can benefit from someone else's expertise for free. Go to the Exchanges section to find out how.
Legal fees are sometimes unavoidable but there are ways to reduce them. For instance did you know you can ask solicitors to bid competitively for your business? For more on this and other ideas, check out the Legal section.
It's always nice to nurture a little bit of a dream. Perhaps a luxury apartment in Highgate, London or a Welsh pub or a 15 room house in 7 acres in the Midlands. The Auctions and Competitions sections give you that hope and more at odds vastly better to those of the National Lottery. Check out both sections.
Unhappy about something and confused about what to do? Feel you should take action but at the same time worried about the impact on your career etc. You're not alone. Check out the Whistleblowing section for some strategies.
Follow us on Twitter. If you think any of the content here might be useful to someone you know, there's a 'Send to a Friend' link at the bottom of each page. New sections will be opened up as they become ready. As well as the mini-reports we are also developing the Golden Snouts and Blob Zone pages.
Golden Snouts will be devoted to those who have thrust their noses heroically deep in the trough. We need your help. You can find stories that have particularly irritated you by using the media menu on the right navigation on the Golden Snouts page (the click-through menu is an excellent reason for bookmarking us!) In due course you will be able to vote for the Snout of the Month award. And we will try to present it.
Glass Citizens will be about civil rights concerns within the UK and where there has been UK involvement, concerns elsewhere in the world. Our view is that if we are to be 'glass-citizens' then we had better make sure we live in a 'glass-state'.
The Blob Zone: We need your help here too. What sites do you know of that will assist, entertain or amuse other PBIers?
